about

The story of Persephone is both tragic and beautiful. I thank her for the seasons and for coloring my life with the changing of nature. I thank her for the circle of life. I start my journey in the midst of summer, warm and careless. I spend endless time roaming through the fields and soaking in sunflower fields. Then comes the rain taking away the heat. I find myself wrapped in a pantomime of autumn colored leaves. I know he is coming for me and I must leave my beloved flowers to enter the cold and dark dream of his. The leaves lose their color and I am his queen. I miss mother. I dance like the martyr, humming the drone didgeridoo and heavy beats. But, as it ends I know spring awakes me. The first flower blooms and the bird chirps in my ear. The sweet harp and flute hum to my tune. I am back to my earth. My spring. I am back. Summer is here.

We all have softness inside of us
It lies deep within our dreams
Where reality becomes a fantasy
A fragment of desired memory
